A couple of years ago I was lamenting the exodus of the warm, romantic Edison bulb. There is just something special about the glowing filament and the soft light it spreads. Don't get me wrong, I am incredibly excited about all the advances of the LED technology, but I just didn't want to see this old trusty friend go away.

Enter the LED filament bulb! It looks like a nostalgic Edison bulb and it has the warmth of one with its 2200K color temperature. So far I have seen them from Satco and Bulbrite, but I am looking forward to seeing the entire assortment of choices at Lightfair next week. Can't wait!
