Legrand Adorne Under Cabinet System
I have no idea why nobody thought of this before: adding a power strip under your cabinet so you avoid marring your beautiful backsplash with outlets and switches. (Speaking of backsplash: don't look at ours, it is a test kitchen and I must confess that our backsplash is at best described as plain.)
The Adorne system from Legrand is a lot more than just a power strip. It is modular so that you can choose your components based on your personal needs. Add a USB port, an iPad or iPod cradle, lights, etc in order to personalize your design. You can position your lights right where you need them. In addition you can plug in your toaster, coffee maker, cell phone AND connect to the internet.
I am planning on installing it in my own kitchen, just so I can get the iPad holder for my recipes!
