Scandinavian Holiday Charm
This 1907 Danish home north of Copenhagen showcases a charming mix of design classics and handcrafted Holiday decor throughout the house. Nothing overwhelming or in-your-face, just very simple touches wherever you look.
Of course I can't help but drool over the Eames chairs and the unique pendant light. And the live tree - with candles. There is nothing quite like it.
The candles are usually only lit Christmas eve and the tree brought in from the outside shortly beforehand. The ornaments are hand crafted or are simple white balls. The paper cone ornaments are so simple to make. Traditionally they are filled with small cookies.
