Outdoor living - and lighting
Finally summer has arrived in Santa Fe, NM (which doesn't mean that it couldn't snow a bit tomorrow.) This is THE most favorite season of mine, since we practically live on our deck. Sitting there writing this. The lighting is definitely a huge factor in creating this oasis where we enjoy all our meals, hang out with friends or just curl up with a good old fashioned book after a long day at work.
Today I am looking around for a few additional outdoor light fixtures to complement the existing ones and pulled up the Aria and Luna fixtures by Hinkley that I saw in their showroom at Dallas Market. The Luna wall sconce on the right is a stand-out with its unique contemporary design and high quality LED light output. Great color rendering, which I always look for (90 CRI) and a warm temperature (2700K) to go with our adobe living and New Mexican earth tones. Love the dark sky friendly Aria lights for their clean contemporary, yet industrial design with the mesh shade .
