I always enjoy looking at the apartments offered for sale by alvhemmakleri.se. Not because I am dreaming of giving up on our adobe abode in New Mexico and moving to Sweden, but because of their simple and inviting decor. It is hard to believe that these are staged properties. I feel like just walking in and curling up in a comfy chair or start cooking a meal for friends and family.

I think this is THE secret of good staging: knowing the property you are representing as well as what prospective buyers are looking for and how they want to live.

Lighting usually doesn't play a major role in staging, since most properties are shown during the daytime. Here the folks from Alvhem did go the extra mile and used a few really nice fixtures and lamps. The Tolomeo floor lamp from Artemide is a perfect fit for this small living room. With its slender profile it doesn't take up much visual space, and still delivers enough light for this area.

The FLOS Archimoon pendant is another modern classic used in this project. Its clean lines and high quality, ribbed glass shade fit the space.
