Shoelaces Lamp Project by Curro Claret When I saw these colorful lamp shades I was enamored by their design. Little did I know that there is a unique story behind them as well.

Spanish designer Curro Claret has dedicated a major part of his life to offering disadvantaged people, who are at risk of social exclusion new opportunities to be creative and to assist in their recovery process by involving them in his projects.

These shades are made using reclaimed shoelaces from the Camper shoe stores. Curro Claret had designed several of their stores and made the shades to use in their displays.
